Hilgers Seasonal Services

About Hilgers Seasonal Services

February funnels down Main Street in Madison Lake, snow skating between the storefronts and drifting against the doors by morning. Hilgers Seasonal Services meets it with a plow and a shovel — lots opened, walks cut through, entryways cleared so a town can go about its day. Out past the elevator the section roads close themselves again by afternoon, and the work simply begins a second time. Snow removal is honest labor: you can see exactly what you did, and so can everybody else. A clear approach on a hard morning is its own kind of welcome.
