About Ketterling Services Inc

Past the city limits the county lies out in a mile-square grid, and nearly every farmstead sits behind a row of trees somebody planted a lifetime ago to break the north wind. Ketterling Services Inc clears snow across that country — long farm drives and approaches, machine-shed aprons, town lots and walks, and sanding where the tracks have turned to glass. A yard can be shut in at daybreak and open again before the second cup of coffee; that is the arrangement, and it holds. The plow follows fence lines a driver could find with his eyes closed, setting the piles where the next storm won't undo them. There is a plain pride in it — chores get done, the road gets made, Luverne gets on with the day.
