About The BinMen

Trains still work the junction at the north edge of Louisville Township, and on a Saturday morning you can hear one couple up while the first mowers come off the trailers. The BinMen spend that morning making curb lines look intentional — mowing, edging the strip along the street, trimming around posts and hydrants, sweeping the drive clean before moving on. It is tidy work in a township where the tidy part is a small island in a lot of tall grass and floodplain timber. By noon a whole block reads as looked-after, and that is the point. Louisville, Shakopee, Jordan and Savage share the week between them.
