About JP Land Services

Half of Lonsdale is on the road before six, headed up the interstate toward the cities, which means a snowed-in driveway is a problem with a deadline attached. JP Land Services runs the dark end of a storm — plowing drives, opening lots, clearing walks so the first step out the door lands on pavement. Snow here comes on prairie wind; it does not so much fall as travel, filling the same drift line behind the same shelterbelt every time. Little beats the look of a drive cut wide and square while the streetlights are still burning and the town has not stirred. That is the work: snow moved, before it becomes anyone else's morning.
