About Common Grounds Lawn & Landscape

The grain elevator still marks Lonsdale from a few miles out, and everything under it — Main Street, the side blocks, the driveways that run back toward the fields — is somebody's ground to keep. Common Grounds Lawn & Landscape works both halves of the calendar in this town: mowing, edging and yard cleanups while the ground is green, plowing and clearing once it goes white. Summer arrives with thunderheads you can watch build for an hour before they reach you; winter arrives sideways, on a wind with little to slow it before it gets here. Either way the job is the same — get out ahead of it and leave the ground usable. A driveway opened by breakfast and a lawn cut clean by supper are both, in their way, a kindness.
