Blizzard Plowing

About Blizzard Plowing

When snow comes hard over Gervais Lake the far shore disappears and the whole town narrows to the length of a headlight beam. Blizzard Plowing heads out into that — driveways plowed, walks and steps cleared, the street plow's ridge pulled off the apron, ice melt spread where the drive tips toward the road. In the green half of the year the same work turns gentle: mowing, trimming, edging, and the spring and fall cleanups that keep a Little Canada yard neat between the lakes and the freeways. Both jobs come down to one habit, which is finishing the corners. It shows up most on the mornings when nothing appears to have happened at all.
