You can find your way back into Lindstrom by the coffee pot on the water tower, standing over a town that kept its Swedish names and its lake views intact. SM landscape & lawn works the streets beneath it, mowing through the long green middle of the year and then turning to leaves when the maples along the avenues let go all at once in October. Grass is cut at a height that carries it through the hot weeks without stress, and the pattern is changed each visit so the lawn stands up straight. The trimmer squares what the deck cannot reach; the edge along the walk is the last thing done and the first thing seen. April brings the other half of the job, the winter raked out and the lawn opened back up to the sun.
