Mickelson Landscaping

About Mickelson Landscaping

Chisago City sits in old Swedish emigrant country — the town keeps a statue of the novelist Vilhelm Moberg, who set his emigrant stories in these very lakes and fields. Mickelson Landscaping works ground that generations have worked before it, and the spring here still smells of turned earth and lilacs. The craft is landscaping in the plain sense: lawns brought along carefully, beds shaped, yards made ready when the light comes back in May. There is patience in it, the kind this landscape has always rewarded. What gets planted and tended well here tends to last.
