CassMan The GrassMan

About CassMan The GrassMan

The Upper Iowa River begins its long run toward the Mississippi in Mower County, and on a hot July afternoon near Le Roy its riffles flash like loose change in the sun. CassMan The GrassMan brings a little of that easy current to lawn work: steady passes, no wasted motion, a yard left cooler-looking than it started. When midsummer heat stalls over the cornfields, grass wants a cut at the right height to stay green instead of scorched. The finish is what counts, a trim tight to the foundation, a smooth curve around the mailbox post, the smell of cut grass drifting across the street. Call it a grassman's pride, grown in a river town at the very bottom of the state.
