About Timber Works LLC

Lavell's year splits cleanly in two, and Timber Works LLC works both halves. Through the green months the job is grass, mowed and trimmed so homes along the township's county roads sit neat against the spruce. When the dark season comes and snow piles up by the foot, the work turns to plowing, opening driveways out to County Highway 16 and the other routes that stitch this wide township together. Each half pays its own reward: the even nap of a fresh cut on a June evening, the smooth white runway of a drive cleared before first light in January. In Lavell the turn of the year is something you feel in your shoulders, and keeping a yard in step with it is worth every early alarm.
