Garden View Lawn and Snow

About Garden View Lawn and Snow

There is an hour at dusk on Orchard Lake when the water goes pewter and the backyards along the shore hold the last of the light. Garden View Lawn and Snow earns its name in those yards — mowing the lawns that frame the flower beds, keeping the grass trimmed so the gardens get to be the show. When the perennials go down for the year, the plows come out, and the same driveways are kept clear through whatever January decides. Summer or deep winter, the aim never changes: a place that looks tended from the kitchen window. That view is the whole point.
