Sydnes Lawn Care

About Sydnes Lawn Care

Late on a Lakefield evening the grain elevator lays its shadow the whole length of the block, and the mowing gets easier the moment the heat lets go. The streets between Main and the ballfield are old, shady and square-cornered — lots where the boulevard, the alley and the fence line all show their trim. Sydnes Lawn Care works them with mower and string trimmer, keeps the edges honest along the sidewalk seams, and rakes the yards out in spring and fall. There is a particular quiet in finishing a block at dusk with the concrete blown clean and the light going orange behind the elevator. Small town, modest yards, and every one of them worth carrying right out to the corner.
