About Lakefield Landscapes llc

Out in Jackson County the horizon is one long level promise, and the turbines along the section lines turn above it all summer. Lakefield keeps its lawns beneath that enormous sky, where a thunderstorm rolls up from the southwest, empties itself in twenty minutes, and leaves the grass an inch taller by Friday. Lakefield Landscapes llc mows, trims and edges to keep up with that pace, blows the clippings back off the walks, and clears the yards in spring and again when the leaves come down. Prairie light is honest light — it shows every wobble in a line, which is exactly why the lines get made straight. A cut lawn under that much open air looks like something settled into place.
