About On Point Solutions LLC

The streets in Lake Saint Croix Beach run short and straight down toward the water, and the lots are small enough that every edge shows. Cottage yards became year-round yards here, so the turf grows in sandy river soil between old cabins and newer houses, most of it under cottonwoods that shed something in nearly every month. The cut, the trim line and the border all have to be tight on lots this size, and the clippings stay well back from the bank. Cleanups come twice — once when the ground thaws, once when the maples have finally finished in November. On a July evening with boats coming back up the St. Croix, a sharp lawn is the last thing a place needs in order to look right.
