About Steiner Landscaping

Sutton Township is where the Meigs County hills finally give in to the Ohio River, and the yards here have to be read before they can be mowed — a strip of flat by the house, then a bank falling away toward the bottoms. Steiner Landscaping works those shapes through the growing season, mowing the level ground, taking the banks with care, trimming around foundations and posts, and edging the walk so the line is clean where it meets the drive. In late August the river haze hangs until mid-morning and a fresh-cut lawn holds the dew a long time before it dries. From the road above Pomeroy you can pick out the mown places all along the hillside, each one a small act of order on steep ground. That is worth doing well.
