About Schifsky Companies

Midnight, mid-storm, and the radar over the east metro is a solid sheet of blue: this is when Schifsky Companies goes to work. Snow removal at commercial scale is a night trade — loaders stacking banks at the back of parking lots, trucks running routes along the corridor where Lake Elmo meets the interstate, lots scraped down to pavement before the first cars arrive. The measure of the job is what people don't notice; by morning the storm reads like a rumor. In a winter that can deliver snow from Halloween to April, that quiet outcome takes planning, iron, and people willing to be awake at hours the town never sees. Schifsky keeps businesses open when the sky does its worst.
