About Redhead Property Services

Fog sits on the Douglas County lakes until the sun clears the tree line, and a shoreline lawn cut early keeps that damp shine for an hour afterward. Around La Grand the yards more often than not run down to water: slope, soft ground at the bottom, and a strip of turf that has to look right from the dock as well as from the road. We cut with that in mind, keep the trimming tight along steps and paths, hold the edge where grass meets stone, and carry the clippings away from the water rather than toward it. Opening in spring and closing in fall each bring their own thorough cleanup. There is a great deal of grass in this township and very little of it is flat; getting it right is mostly a matter of knowing which way the water runs.
