About Marvin Gardens Landscaping

On a La Crescent morning the fog lifts off the Mississippi channel and the whole valley smells of water and green. That is the hour Marvin Gardens Landscaping likes for lawn work: mowing, string trimming, sharp lines along the drives and walks, and the regular tidying that carries a yard through the growing months. Grass comes on fast in this bottomland, so the answer is rhythm, the same day and the same route and the same eye for the strip nobody else remembers. By the time the barges are moving and the town is awake, a dozen lawns already look like somebody loves them. It is plain work, and it makes a street feel settled.
