About SFC Terrain Works

Kerrick lies deep in the woods of northern Pine County, where April means mud season, birch trunks gleam white against bare aspen, and the gravel roads soften with every thaw. SFC Terrain Works is named for the ground itself, and its lawn care starts there: mowing, trimming and clearing yards so the grass can hold on land the forest would happily reclaim. A yard here is hard-won, carved out of second-growth woods and kept open one season at a time. When the work is done, the lawn rolls smooth up to the treeline like a green shoreline. In a town this small and this wooded, an open yard is a gift of light.
