About Eliason Enterprises llc

Kerkhoven grew up along the railroad and U.S. Highway 12, and in January both lines run straight through a world gone white, with nothing on the open prairie to slow the wind. Eliason Enterprises keeps things moving, plowing driveways and opening sidewalks after storms that leave hard drifts curled against every garage door. When the snowbanks finally shrink in spring, the business turns to lawn care: mowing, trimming and getting yards back in order after the long freeze. There is a practical pride in both halves of that work, a lane open before the first train rumbles through and a lawn edged sharp by June. Through freeze and thaw, the town stays easy to live in.
