About Boyd Lawn Co.

Kensington lies in the rolling glacial hills of Douglas County, on the same ground where a farmer turned up the runestone in 1898 and gave this little town its long argument and its landmark. Those hills mean no lawn is truly flat, and mowing them well takes patience and a straight eye. Boyd Lawn Co. handles that mowing, along with the trimming, the edging, and the cleanups that open and close the season. On summer evenings the light lies long across the hayfields, and a cut yard holds its stripes until dark. Neat grass on rolling ground — that's the craft of it here.
