About Bushwacker LLC

At Kabetogama the lake is the main road, and the ancient granite of Voyageurs National Park shoulders up through thin soil at every turn. Bushwacker LLC works this rugged edge of Minnesota, plowing out drives and lanes when winter locks the lake in ice, then mowing and trimming the short-season lawns once the islands turn green again. Snow comes early and stays late this close to the Canadian border, so a lane cleared by first light matters more than almost anything. In summer, a neat stretch of grass between the pines and the rock looks like a welcome mat laid at the water's edge. Under northern lights in January or a deep-blue June twilight, the work keeps the place open.
