Jordan was built against a sandstone bluff — the old brewery ruins are still tucked into the rock — and every fall the hillside above town lets its leaves go in great drifting sheets. Loren's Lawn and Landscape LLC meets that season head-on: cleanups that clear the yards before the leaves mat down, final mows that put lawns to bed cut and tidy, beds and edges squared away against the freeze. Then the same trucks turn to snow, keeping driveways and sidewalks open through the deep months when the bluff wears white. Landscape work fills the green half of the year, shaping yards that hold their looks from thaw to first frost. It is town work in the fullest sense — done in sight of the rock the town grew up against. When the hillside goes bare and the first flakes come down it, the route is already ready.
