Downer Bro's Landscaping

About Downer Bro's Landscaping

Jevne is tamarack country, an Aitkin County township where black spruce bogs and hayfields trade places along the back roads, and the late-August light turns the color of ripening wild rice. Downer Bro's Landscaping works the high, dry ground in between, mowing and shaping yards that have to hold their own against a wild edge. Out here the woods are always leaning in, brush at the field margin and ferns at the foundation, so a clean-cut lawn draws a real boundary in the forest. What is left is a place that feels opened up and bright, with room to see the sky. When evening fog lifts off the bogs, the yard sits crisp and green above it.
