Seasonal Spruce Up

About Seasonal Spruce Up

Late summer in Jackson County arrives heavy and green, the sky enormous and the grass growing faster than anyone can quite keep up with. Seasonal Spruce Up handles that stretch — mowing on a schedule, trimming around posts and foundations, and clearing the clippings so a yard reads finished rather than merely cut. Spring and fall bring the other half of the work, the raking and tidying that bracket the growing season at both ends. Out on the prairie a well-kept lawn carries a long way; you can read a tended yard from three blocks off. Getting a place to that point and holding it there is the whole ambition.
