About Tom's Total Tree Services

Ironton's ground runs red. This is the Cuyuna Range, where iron ore was mined for much of the last century and the old pits have since filled with deep, clear water, ringed by trails and young forest grown up over the rock piles. When December snow falls on that rust-colored earth the contrast is startling, white on red beneath dark pines and bare aspen. Tom's Total Tree Services takes on the snow removal, clearing drives and lots so the day can get started. A plowed driveway at dusk, banked in white with the red ground buried until spring, is a small victory on the Range.
