About Wagner SOD Company

At Heritage Village Park, the old Rock Island Swing Bridge reaches out over the Mississippi as a fishing pier, a reminder that Inver Grove Heights grew up along the river's edge. Late summer there brings cooler nights and September rains, a prime window for laying new grass. Wagner SOD Company works in rolled turf, unrolling living lawn across bare ground and turning a construction-scarred lot or a tired yard green in short order. There is real satisfaction in watching the seams vanish as the rolls knit together and the roots take hold in the cooling soil. Almost overnight, a patch of dirt becomes a place to throw a ball.
