About J&B services

October in the Salem Hills is an argument between the oaks and the wind, and the oaks lose a little more of it every day. J&B services spends the month in the middle of that argument — mowing the last flushes of growth, keeping lawns tidy as the leaves let go, putting yards to bed properly before the freeze. Then the argument ends, the snow begins, and the same trucks come back with plows hung on the front. There's a plainness to the name and a plainness to the work: grass cut when it needs cutting, driveways open when it snows. In a town built on hills, both matter more than they sound.
