Brando's Tree Service and forestry management

About Brando's Tree Service and forestry management

The Rainy River runs the northern edge of International Falls, and the spruce and birch along it keep their own counsel through a winter the rest of the state only reads about. Cold like that tests a tree; so does the summer wind that crosses the Voyageurs water and finds every weak crotch and dead top in a yard. Brando's Tree Service and forestry management works that boreal ground — removals when a pine has finished its life beside a roof, trimming and pruning to give a hardwood room enough to hold its shape. When a storm walks through and leaves the drive under limbs, storm damage cleanup is what gets the morning back. Standing off at dusk with the river going the color of pewter and the yard set right again is the part worth showing up for.
