About Top Notch Lawn Care, LLC

The first mow of the year up here is an announcement — tamarack gone soft green, road restrictions lifted, and every yard in the township wanting attention at once. Ideal is lake country with the woods pressed close, so the work goes around birch clumps and boat trailers and along the sandy shoulders where turf gives way to pine needles. Mowing, close trimming, a defined edge, and a yard raked out at both ends of the year: the list is short and the standard is simple, which is straight lines and nothing blown into the neighbor's gravel. By August the grass slows and the water becomes the reason anyone is here, and that is exactly when a kept yard stops being a chore and turns into part of the view.
