Fresh Earth Landscape

About Fresh Earth Landscape

Spring in Hutchinson announces itself on the South Fork of the Crow River, where the ice loosens in March and the water finds its voice again. Fresh Earth Landscape works to that calendar: as the banks thaw, the mowers come off their winter rest and the season of green begins in earnest. Through the warm months the crew keeps lawns cut and cared for, letting each yard grow into the long light of a Minnesota June. Then the river stills, the first flakes come sideways out of the northwest, and the same hands hitch the plows. Snow cleared, grass tended, the town carried across both halves of its year — that is the work.
