Hunts Lawn Care

About Hunts Lawn Care

There is something fitting about a lawn business called Hunts working in a township called Hunter. In August the corn stands taller than a person on every side, the mornings come up heavy with dew, and meadowlarks sing from the fence posts while the grass is still too wet to cut. By midmorning it dries, and Hunts Lawn Care gets going: mowing, then trimming along the grove and the edge of the drive. The prairie is generous with growth in late summer, and keeping a yard neat against it is steady work. When the job is done, the grass lies even and fragrant under a hot sky the size of the whole county.
