Ole's Landscaping Center

About Ole's Landscaping Center

Houston is the Minnesota town that celebrates owls, home to the International Owl Center, and on a spring evening a barred owl may call from the wooded hillsides as the light fades. That soft hour, when the valley goes blue and the air smells of cut grass and lilac, is when a well-made yard comes into its own. Ole's Landscaping Center shapes that kind of yard, with planting beds set just so, edges laid in clean curves, and lawns kept fresh from the first green of April. In a valley this lovely, landscaping is less about decoration than about fitting a home gracefully into the hills around it. When the owls start up at dusk, the garden should feel as though it has always belonged there.
