An old rail grade runs straight through Hopkins as the Cedar Lake trail, and the town has kept that habit of clean, level lines ever since. Lawn Ketchers takes it to heart: mowing in even passes, trimming tight to fence posts and light poles, and clearing the clippings and leaves that would otherwise mat down a good stand of grass. Summer here is loud with sprinklers and short, and the growing weeks between the last frost and the first are worth using well. When the weather flips, the same properties get plowed and shoveled, corners squared so a drive stays wide all winter instead of narrowing storm by storm.
