About Maki's Tree Service LLC

Out at Carey Lake the trail loops through birch that turn gold well ahead of the first frost, and a Hibbing summer evening lasts most of the way to ten o'clock. Maki's Tree Service LLC uses all of that daylight — tree trimming to open a yard back up, pruning that shapes a young tree while it is still willing to be shaped, tree removal when a birch has crossed the line from character into hazard. Storm damage cleanup is the steady northern work: wet snow, then a wind off the Range, then a morning of hauling out what came down. A limb taken, a lawn swept clear, the sun reaching the grass again — that is the day.
