About CHS Superior Landscaping

The thaw comes late on the hill above the Twin Ports; snowbanks hang on beneath the birch and balsam into April, and when they finally go they leave a winter's worth of sand across every lawn and walk. CHS Superior Landscaping starts its year right there — spring cleanup, raking the grit out, re-cutting bed edges, laying mulch — and then mows, trims and edges through a growing season that manages to be short and generous at once. Fertilizing, weed control and fall cleanups round out the warm months. When the cold returns, the trucks change over to plowing drives and lots, clearing walks, and salting the shoulders where the ground drops away toward Duluth. Two trades on one property, so the ground is never left untended between them.
