Hanson Lawns & Landscaping

About Hanson Lawns & Landscaping

Before it was Henning, the settlement went by Peace Prairie, after a first resident who praised its abundance of water, wood, prairie and rich soil. That rich soil is still where every season starts, when the frost lets go and yards around town wake up shaggy and uneven. Hanson Lawns & Landscaping brings them back into shape with steady lawn care: mowing, trimming the edges tight to the walk, and clearing away what winter left behind. By mid-June the result shows from the street, a lawn that looks combed, the shade under the trees a deeper green than the sunny side. It's a small, satisfying kind of order, and in a town first named for a settler called Peace, it feels right at home.
