About Nls Services

Out here a storm does not have to be falling to be a problem. A February wind picks the old snow off the flat fields west of Hawley and lays it back down across the township roads in long white ribs, and a driveway cleared at noon can be closed again by supper. Nls Services plows into that wind — residential drives, farm approaches and business lots, opened and then opened again when the drifts return, with walks shoveled and slick spots treated. There is a particular pride in a long farm approach cut wide and square, wide enough that the next gust has less to work with. When the wind finally quits and the valley goes still and blue, the way out is already clear.
