About Fenske Lawn Care

The Buffalo River comes into Hawley under a roof of cottonwoods, and on a June morning the whole bottomland smells like cut grass and river water. Fenske Lawn Care spends that season on Clay County yards: weekly mowing, string trimming around posts and foundations, edging the sidewalk lines, and blowing every clipping off the drive before the trailer gate goes up. Fertilizing and weed control keep the turf thick enough to handle the long, bright days out on the western edge of the state, where summer light hangs on until nearly ten. Fall brings leaf cleanup and a final low cut; spring brings clearing away winter's leavings and waking the grass back up. It is a plain list of jobs, and every one of them shows in the finished yard.
