Nathan's Outdoor Service

About Nathan's Outdoor Service

Climb a bluff above Hastings on a September evening and the Mississippi spreads below in bands of silver and shadow, the town stepping down its slopes toward the water. Nathan's Outdoor Service keeps lawns in sharp order from the hillsides to the flats, mowing grades that can be tricky and trimming close around trunks, walks and fences. The cooler nights of early fall bring grass back from summer's stress, and a careful cut now lets a yard look its fullest. A lawn finished just as the light goes amber over the river is a fine way to end a day. Seen from the bluff, a well-trimmed yard becomes part of the view.
