About Elegant Landscapes LLC

In April the Vermillion River pours over the falls in Hastings loud and brown with meltwater, and the town seems to wake to the sound. Right on cue, Elegant Landscapes LLC starts on the lawns, bringing matted grass back to life with the season's first careful cuts. By May the yards around town are filling in thick, each edge along the walk trimmed sharp enough to cast its own thin shadow. Good lawn care is mostly patience: the right height, the right timing, mower stripes laid down as straight as rails. Spring in a river town comes on fast and noisy, and the lawns that emerge from it looking calm are the ones somebody tended.
