Satan's Snow Removal

About Satan's Snow Removal

The name carries some fire, and a Harris winter gives it plenty to push against. Up in Chisago County, where Interstate 35 runs north through woods and wetlands toward Duluth, a storm can slip in overnight and leave the whole town buried by morning. Satan's Snow Removal goes after that snow in the dark, breaking driveways out and scraping them down before anything can freeze into ruts. Once the pines to the east go from black to rose against the dawn, cars can roll out without anyone lifting a shovel. The name promises heat; the job delivers a Harris driveway clear at six on a January morning.
