About Towerview Services

Winter in Cass County arrives early and stays a long while; by January the banks along Highway 371 stand higher than a truck hood and the lake ice groans at night. Towerview Services works those months around Hackensack — plowing driveways and lots, opening turnarounds wide enough to actually turn around in, shoveling walks and steps, and putting down ice control where the melt refreezes. The best part of this job happens before anyone sees it: the drive cleared at four in the morning, the snow stacked where it will not block the sightline, the walk bare by the time the porch light goes off. Long driveways through the pines fill fast once the wind comes up, so the work is about staying ahead of the drifting rather than digging out from under it. Nobody up here should have to start a January morning with a shovel.
