About Smith Skidsteer & Excavation LLC

By March in Guthrie the lakes are still locked under ice, the sun has begun to feel warm on the face, and the storms that blow through come heavy and wet. Smith Skidsteer & Excavation LLC, a skid-steer and excavation outfit, takes on snow removal in that late stretch of winter, when months of banks leave nowhere to put the new snow. A skid steer proves its worth in those weeks, lifting and stacking heavy loads aside, leveling old banks to make room, scraping drives down before the slush can freeze into ruts. It is muscular work, and the result is plain: a wide, open yard and a drive ready for the thaw. Spring is close; until it lands, the snow has somewhere to go.
