Snow Bro's

About Snow Bro's

On some January mornings in Greenbush the thermometer sinks well below zero and the northern lights are still fading over the fields when the plowing starts. Snow Bro's clears snow in this town near the state's northern edge, with its long winter, a wind off the flat land that bites, and snow that comes early and stays late. The task is opening driveways and walks before anyone needs them: banks shoved back, the drive scraped down, a clear line from the house to the truck. There is real pride in that first finished drive under a black sky, exhaust hanging still in the cold. By sunup, Greenbush can get moving.
