Aurelius Mow and Go

About Aurelius Mow and Go

The Minnesota River has spent ages wearing down to the bedrock at Granite Falls, baring granite and gneiss counted among the oldest stone on the continent. Aurelius Mow and Go tends the lawns of this valley town, green yards resting just above rock that was ancient before anything grew. Midsummer mornings start cool along the water, and that is when the mowing begins: brisk, even passes, then the trim along curbs and steps. There is something fitting about bringing a neat new edge to a place so very old. The work moves quickly, as the name says, but the finish is unhurried, and the yard looks right the moment the engine goes quiet.
