Tioga Turf Co.

About Tioga Turf Co.

West of Grand Rapids, the old Tioga mine pit has been reborn as trails and blue water, and Tioga Turf Co. carries that same spirit of second acts into its lawn work. This is country where the ground remembers iron and gravel, yet a tended yard can still come up thick and soft as anywhere south. The crew mows, feeds, and repairs turf through the short ferocious growing season, turning thin, tired grass into lawns worth going barefoot on. Summer afternoons here end with bikes coming off the trails and sprinklers starting up in town, and Tioga Turf likes being part of that picture. Grass, like the land around here, rewards whoever refuses to give up on it.
