About CS Services

Green-up comes late this far north, and when it comes it arrives all at once — one warm week at the end of May and every lawn in Grand Lake township is asking for a first cut. CS Services meets it there: mowing on a steady schedule, string trimming along ditch lines and driveway culverts, edging where blacktop meets sod. Summer up here is short-sleeved and mosquito-loud, and there is something fine about the fresh-cut smell rising off a yard at seven in the evening with the light still high overhead. By September the work turns toward leaf and needle cleanup, clearing the grass so it goes into freeze-up clean. Between Twig, Canosia and the Hermantown line, the promise stays the same: cut, trimmed, blown off, done.
