About Orion Construction Services

Morning comes slowly to Gnesen in autumn, fog sitting low over the reservoir until the sun climbs the jack pines and burns it off. That's the hour Orion Construction Services likes for mowing — dew nearly gone, air still, the blade cutting clean instead of tearing. The work here runs to big rural lots, so there's trimming along fence lines, around mailboxes and well heads, and leaf cleanup once the tamaracks go gold and let go all at once. Nothing about a north-woods yard stays tidy on its own; the trees see to that. What we like is the moment the engine shuts off and the whole clearing sits quiet and squared away, ready for the frost.
