Glacial Lakes Landscaping

About Glacial Lakes Landscaping

The country around Glenwood was left in a hurry by a glacier — hummocks and kettles and water tucked into the low spots, and hardly a level acre in all of Pope County. Glacial Lakes Landscaping mows that uneven ground, trims what the deck cannot reach, edges walks and drives, and does the cleanups that start and end the growing season. Winter turns the same slopes into work of another kind: plowing, shoveling, and salt and sand where a hill would rather be an ice rink. Grass on a rolling lot takes a careful hand to look even, and looking even on a hill is the whole trick. When it is right, the lawn follows the land instead of fighting it.
